Cooling Fan

Creating a niche of Cooling Fan such as Cooling Fans, Fan Grill, AC Cooling Fan and DC Cooling Fan at its best, with utmost quality.

As processors, graphics cards, RAM and other components in computers have increased in speed and power consumption, the amount of heat produced by these components as a side-effect of normal operation has also increased. These components need to be kept within a specified temperature range to prevent overheating, instability, malfunction and damage leading to a shortened component lifespan.

While in earlier personal computers it was possible to cool most components using natural convection (passive cooling), many modern components require more effective active cooling. To cool these components, fans are used to move heated air away from the components and draw cooler air over them. Fans attached to components are usually used in combination with a heatsink to increase the area of heated surface in contact with the air, thereby improving the efficiency of cooling.

Used to aerate the case of the computer. The components inside the case cannot dissipate heat efficiently if the surrounding air is too hot. Case fans move air through the case, usually drawing cooler outside air in through the front (where it may also be drawn over the internal hard drive racks) and expelling it through the rear. There may be a third fan in the side or top of the case to draw outside air into the vicinity of the CPU, which is usually the largest single heat source. Standard case fans are 80 mm, 92 mm, 120 mm, 140 mm or 200 mm in width and length. As case fans are often the most readily visible form of cooling on a PC, decorative fans are widely available and may be lit with LEDs, made of UV-reactive plastic, and covered with decorative grilles. Decorative fans and accessories are popular with case modders. Air filters are often used over intake fans, to prevent dust from entering the case.

As the fan speed of DC cooling fans is directly proportional to the supply voltage, the temperature of the device can be controlled by modulating the input voltage of the fan. The voltage is regulated by a system of heat sensors and software that can change the voltage and the fan speed with precise accuracy.
  • DC fans consume less power than AC fans. While the exact difference between the power ratings of the two fans depends upon the precise device specification, on average DC fans consume 60 % less power than AC fans.
  • The revolutions per second rate in a DC fan can be varied with the input voltage. This gives DC fans the added advantage of being able to adapt to the air pressure required. Most modern devices have come with preinstalled software in the computer BIOS that monitors as well as customizes the fan speed for optimum cooling.
  • The earlier DC fan design made the device more expensive than its AC counterpart. But with improvements in design and with the introduction of new manufacturing materials, the DC fan cost has come down significantly. With lower maintenance costs and limited power consumption, DC fans have proven to be more value for money than AC fans

All types of computer equipment rely on DC cooling fans to prevent them from overheating. This includes everything from large servers to home PCs. The advantage of DC cooling fans is that they create less electromagnetic interference. This enables them to cool computer systems without disturbing processes with electromagnetic interference.

Product TypeAC Cooling Fan

AC cooling fans are essential parts of all modern electronic appliances. They allow our electronics to run smoothly and at temperatures that are healthy for these devices to operate at by supplying a steady stream of cool air.

AC fans are in nearly every electronic device that we use through our day-to-day lives. They are responsible for protecting essential pieces of these devices from breaking down or losing their performance capabilities. Similar to the cooling fans in an automobile engine, these devices supply fresh, cold air to the critical components of some of our most sophisticated machines.

Computer and electronics AC fans function in the same capacity as any regular household fan. The main purpose of these fans is to ensure that acceptable temperatures are maintained in an electronic device. The blades spin at different rates proportionately to the required amount of cooling. Together the device and fan work to maintain optimal temperatures, by maximizing performance and longevity and protecting against harmful overheating.

AC fans use aerodynamically constructed blades to help create a vortex of air, pushing cooler air into the device. The spinning blades force the air to move in a specific direction. This directional movement of air is dictated by the orientation of the blades. As the blades spin they both suck air from the surrounding outside area and propel the new air through the AC fan and away on the other side. The side of the fan that sucks new air in is generally located facing outwards, in order to supply the computer with fresh cooling air. It is also common to see multiple AC fans facing in opposite directions in order to create a current of fresh air.

In order to maintain a constant temperature, the computer and the fan work together in the same way that a thermostat interacts with an air conditioning unit. As the computer works harder or is placed in a warmer environment, it tells the AC fan to supply the machine with an increased air flow. The fan will then spin faster in order to meet the computers request for lower temperatures, thus cooling the machine. From there, the mechanism will either enter an idling phase in order to maintain the temperature or it will completely shut off if, its services are no longer needed by the computer.
